As the festive season begins, Shimena is hitting the road again - bringing our soft, colourful scarves to some of the Scottish Borders’ best pop-ups and Christmas markets.
If you’ve been waiting to see our scarves in person (and feel just how soft they really are!), this is your chance. Come browse, shop, and say hello - we love meeting our customers face to face.

🧣 Hawick Panto Coffee Morning

📍 Evergreen Hall, Hawick
1st November I’ll be popping along to the Hawick Panto Group’s “Frosted” Ticket Launch Coffee Morning at Evergreen Hall from 10am to 12pm. It’s the perfect way to start the festive season - enjoy a cuppa, a slice of cake, get yourself a wee Pashmina to keep warm outside this season, and grab your tickets for this year’s magical panto, Frosted. With entry just £2.50, it’s a lovely local event to support the community and get into the Christmas spirit early. If you’re in the area, come along for a wee blether and plenty of festive cheer!

🧣 Guides Coffee Morning

On Saturday 8th November, I’ll be attending the Hawick Guides Coffee Morning, a lovely community event that’s always full of friendly faces and warm conversation. Taking place from 10am to 12pm, it’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, some delicious home baking, and support the local Guides group in their activities. It’s a great way to catch up with neighbours, browse some stalls (*HINT HINT), and contribute to a fantastic cause - a cosy Saturday morning well spent!

Kick off your Christmas shopping at the HAOS Christmas Market, a local favourite filled with festive spirit. You’ll find handcrafted gifts, local crafts, and of course, our beautiful scarves - the perfect gift or winter wardrobe update.

We’ll be back in Hawick the very next day for the Golf Club Christmas Fayre! It’s always a lovely community event with plenty of festive inspiration (and maybe a few mince pies). Come by to see our new winter collection and pick up something gift-ready and beautifully wrapped.

End the month on a high at the Lilliardsedge Holiday Park Christmas Market - a festive day out surrounded by local makers, tasty treats, and holiday cheer. We’ll have plenty of cosy scarves, ideal for gifting or layering up for winter walks.

📍 Victoria Halls, Selkirk, United Kingdom
Join me at the Celebrating Selkirk Christmas Market on Saturday 6th December from 10am to 3pm at Victoria Halls, Selkirk! This bustling festive event will feature the Selkirk Farmers Market stalls, local crafts, charity stalls, food, teas, coffees, and live music throughout the day - plus a special visit to Santa’s Grotto. At 3:15pm, the festivities continue with the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On procession led by the Selkirk Silver Band. I’ll be there with a beautiful range of Shimena scarves - perfect Christmas presents or treats for yourself.

I’m delighted to be bringing Shimena to the Melrose Bowling Club Christmas Market this year! Taking place on Sunday 7th December from 10am to 3pm, this cosy local market will be filled with festive cheer - from handmade crafts and unique gifts to mulled wine, mince pies, and hot chocolates. With a face painter, tombola, and plenty of Christmas sparkle, it’s the perfect way to spend a winter’s day. Pop by my stall to browse my collection of scarves and accessories - ideal for gifting or keeping yourself warm in style!
