I’ve Lived in These Leggings Since 2021 – Long Before I Sold Them in Scotland
Some people put leggings on for workouts.
I put them on for… life.
And that’s exactly why I can stand behind Shimena leggings so confidently.
Where It All Started – Cape Town, 2021
I first started selling these leggings at the beginning of 2021, when we were living in Cape Town, South Africa.
By then, Shimena was already fairly well established. I’d launched with scarves in 2017, built up a loyal customer base, and was working full time on the business while my kids were still very young.
The leggings came next - not because I needed another product, but because I genuinely couldn’t stop wearing them.
Not Just for Exercise… For Everything
I wore these leggings almost every single day.
Not just for yoga or walks - but for:

Rollerblading to nursery pick-ups

I’m Not Wearing Them to Sell Them
And this part matters to me.
I’m not wearing Shimena leggings because I sell them.
I sell them because I wear them.
For nearly five years, I’ve chosen them daily because they’re:

Someone told me this week they own 70+ pairs.
I’ve never actually counted mine… but judging by the different patterns in photos over the years, I’d say I’m not far off.
